Cal-Tex Gun Barn was founded by father and sons who took a hobby of collecting .22 rifles and has now made it in to a family run business. There are four brothers and three sisters with the youngest being born in California with his mother’s side of the family being four generations in Santa Barbara County. So we name the farm and gun barn Cal-Tex. We believe that every young man and woman needs to know how to shoot and own a gun. That is where the love for the Crickett rifles started; these are great training rifles for kids.

We sell any type of firearm that you might need for hunting, shooting or collections. We provide a small hometown customer service type of business that is based on repeat customers. Our mark-up on special order new firearms is a small percentage of the dealer cost plus shipping from wholesalers for local pick up or to your FFL. We provide transfers for our local customers using internet websites like, www.gunbroker.com www.gunsamerica.com and www.auctionarms.com for a small fee of $15.00. This allows our customers to use the internet to find the firearm that we cannot provide.
